The Ottawa Fusion Varsity Training Centre is designed specifically for athletes competing at the USport, CCAA, and NCAA levels who want to continue developing in a high-performance environment during the off-season.

Sponsor Opportunities

Ottawa Fusion offers a sponsor program to help offset the cost of the Varsity Training Centre for athletes who also coach within the club during the summer. Athletes coaching in the Elite Summer Training Program and/or with COMPETE Beach teams may be eligible for financial support while gaining valuable coaching experience and helping develop the next generation of Fusion athletes.

Adult DEVELOP

Learn. Improve. Play.

Whether you're learning volleyball for the first time or looking to build on existing skills, Ottawa Fusion's Adult DEVELOP Program provides a supportive and structured environment to help you improve your game while enjoying the sport.

Designed for adults (19+) with beginner to intermediate experience, sessions combine technical instruction, guided drills, and game play to build confidence and develop stronger volleyball fundamentals.

What You'll Learn

Our coaches focus on developing the core skills needed to become a more confident and consistent player, including:

  • Passing
  • Setting
  • Serving
  • Attacking
  • Court movement
  • Team play
  • Game strategy

Each session blends skill development with game play, allowing participants to apply what they learn in a fun and supportive environment.

Program Levels

Level 1 – Beginner to Intermediate

Perfect for adults who are new to volleyball or looking to refresh their fundamental skills. Training focuses on basic techniques, court movement, and introductory game play.

Level 2 – Intermediate to Advanced

Designed for players with previous volleyball experience who want to refine their skills, improve court positioning, and continue developing through more advanced drills and game situations.

Do I need previous volleyball experience?

Experience requirements vary by program. Adult DEVELOP welcomes all experience levels, while Varsity Training Centre and Adult COMPETE are intended for athletes with previous playing experience.

Are tryouts required?

No tryouts are required for Adult DEVELOP or Varsity Training Centre. Adult COMPETE may require an evaluation or team placement depending on the season.
