February 27, 2010.  When the 17U Girls decided not to attend the last 18U OVA tournament of the season, they found themselves with a Saturday morning free.  What could they do with a free Saturday?  Sleep in, go shopping, go to a movie? Instead, they found themselves in the gym at Pius scrimmaging with some of Assistant Coach Jessica's teammates from the Ottawa Competitive Volleyball League.  The ladies volunteered their time to come out and help the girls work on their game in preparation for the last 17U OVA tournament of the season.  They gave the girls a real workout, taking 3 of the 5 games played.

On behalf of the Ottawa Fusion Volleyball Club and the 17U Girls, we'd like to thank Nadine Dubé, Joanna Langley, Erica Duclos and, of course Jessica for giving up a Saturday morning to come and help us out. 

To cap off a fun weekend, some of the girls got together on Sunday to watch the Canadian Men's Hockey team take Gold against the US.
