The 15U Girls Red team continued their advance in the OVA standings at the McGregor Cup Championship East tournament held in Orleans this past weekend. Following a rapid and undefeated run straight through to the quarter-finals, the Fusion Red girls gave up an extremely close match to the Scarborough Titans Dynasty.  They finished up with a close match against Storm Blast to take the Bronze medal.

The team has shown strong development over the season under the careful watch of coaches Irena Zamboni and Linden Leung. A full compliment attended the most recent tournament.  While parents, relatives and friends sat anxiously on the side lines, our girls demonstrated nerves of steel as they rebounded time and again to win game after game. It should be noted that several parents also demonstrated nerves, of at least copper, as they stepped up and called the lines during many intensely competitive games.

Our next road trip will be on February 13th to an as yet undisclosed location.
